IT WAS LIFESAVING CHAMPIONSHIPS TOOK PRIORITY THIS WEEKEND

European Masters Lifesaving Championships
Congratulations to Triona McMenamin and our club swim coach Lisa Dalton who won Gold in Board rescue at the European Masters Lifesaving Championships held in Spain over the weekend. Triona also picked up two individual gold medals in the Paddle Board and Ocean Woman (swim, paddle, kayak, run) events as well as a silver medal in the Surf Ski event.

5k Roundup
Shane McNulty raced in Wednesdays Buncrana 5k finishing in an excellent time of 16:09. Keith Gordon, 20:25, Phillip Browne, 21:25, and Terence Quinn,22:58, all raced in the Drumoghill 5k while Aidan McFadden finished in 22:18 in Thursdays Relay for Life 5k.

Club Training
Club training continues as follows:
Monday: Open water swimming@Gartan-6.30pm
Tuesday: Track session- 7.45pm
Wednesday: Swim session- Advanced 7-8pm, Intermediate/ Beginners 8-9pm
Thursday: Brick/TT session 7.00pm- this week is a Brick session starting at Foxhall at 7pm sharp- Marshal this week is Jarlath Duffy
Saturday: Club cycle leaves from Aura at 8am
Saturday: Swim session- 6-7pm (please note prepayment does not cover the cost of Saturday sessions.
