ALOT OF PB’S FROM GLENMORE 10 MILE AND ALL SYSTEMS GO FOR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP DUATHLON

Glenmore 10 Mile
The club had over twenty members take on Sunday’s Glenmore 10mile race organized by FVAC.

Paul Cullen was the first 24/7 member to cross the finish line in a very impressive time of 63:41. Fionnuala Larkin was the first club female with a superb time of 73:13.

There were some very impressive times from 24/7 members- too many to name individually- with PB’s recorded by a lot- See full results attached.

Thanks also to the great 24/7 support crew who travelled over to cheer on their fellow club members, it was very much appreciated!

Children’s Fun Duathlon Festival
This is the inaugural hosting of an event of this kind by our club and it will be run after the club’s hosting of the Standard Distance National championships and Junior Sprint Distance National Championship Duathlons on March 11th.

The aim of the children’s duathlon is to encourage young people to get active and take part in this ever-growing sport with the emphasis on FUN! The event will not be timed.

Join hundreds of children taking part in the 247 Letterkenny Children’s Duathlon where they will run, bike & run all within the O’Donnell Park GAA grounds. The course is spectator friendly for supporting family and friends and a fun and relaxed atmosphere is guaranteed.

There will be club appointed marshals on all sections of the course including the Cycle Transition areas to help all those taking part.
