DUATHLON SEASON HAS STARTED AND INFORMATION NIGHT
Galco Naas Duathlon
Christine Russell made a welcome return to racing this weekend with a superb performance at the Galco Naas Duathlon. Christine was 3rd Female overall and finished in a time of 1:03:23. Christine’s brilliant result gave her 2nd place in the Intervarsity championship representing NUI Galway.
Orlaith Fogarty also took part and was also a prizewinner. She had a brilliant performance finishing 1st F20-24,19th female overall in a time of 1:16:21. A great start to 2018 for both girls.
IISA GB
Our swim coach Paddy Bond was in action at the International Ice Swimming Association GB swim in Leeds at the weekend. Paddy was 1st M35-39 in the 1k swim and 2nd overall in the 50 fly. Super swimming from Paddy in ice cold temperatures!
Lifford AC 5k
John Daly and Enda Carr raced Sunday’s final 5k of the Lifford AC Series. John crossed the finish line in a great time of 19:58 and Enda finished in 22.21.
Club Information Night
Preparations are well underway for our club information night taking place in the Aura Leisure Centre, Letterkenny on Monday 5th March.
This information night is open to both club members and non club members.

Club Training
Club training continues as follows:
Tuesday: Road based session-6.30pm from Aura (trial change)- Hi-viz essential- no hi- viz no session!
Wednesday: Swim session- Beginners 7-8pm, All others 8-9pm
Thursday: Long run leaves Aura 6.30pm- Hi-viz essential- no hi- viz no session!
Saturday: Club cycle leaves from Aura at 8am
Saturday: Club swim session Saturday at 6pm Additional lane added for 14-16yr old club members- MUST be accompanied by a parent (please note prepayment does not cover Saturday swim.
