There were two Duathlons last weekend, one in Fanad and the second in Newport Co. Mayo. Five club members made the trek to Newport to take part in a 2.5 k run 11 k cycle 6.5 k trail run, 11k run and 2.5 k run. Fiona Temple was the best of the quintet but all deserve credit for taking on this difficult race. Andrea McGettigan organized the trip to her native home and she also organized the rehydration after. Locally the Fanad duathlon based in Tamney also had a few members taking part with Seamus Morisson making a return to racing.

Road Race reports
Shane McNulty was In Germany last weekend for the Berlin Marathon and was very happy with his time of 2.47.30. This time is sub four minute k pace which is very impressive. Adam Speer also ran in a time of 2.58.31. Gavin Crawford raced in Dublin at the half marathon and raced a credible 84.32 after completing the half ironman equivalent the previous week.
