SPAR Tour of Omagh
Club member Shaun McDaid was in action with Errigal CC at the 3 day SPAR tour of Omagh over the weekend. The weekend included 4 stages with races on Friday, a TT as well as road race on the Saturday before finishing off with a 73k race on Sunday morning. Despite picking up a puncture on stage 1 Shaun was able to make the time and complete all four stages in what were horrendous conditions for racing. Club members Enda Carr and Eugene McGettigan were team managers for the event.

Tri Limits Tyrone
Unfortunately the weather wreaked havoc on Saturday’s middle distance race in Tyrone hosted by the Tri Limits triathlon club. John Connaghan and Cathal Roarty both managed the swim but due to the rapid change in weather were not allowed out on the bike course for safety reasons. Damian McGoohan managed 60k on the bike course but was unable to continue. Graham Parker managed both the swim and bike but wasn’t able to complete the run course.

Castlefin 5k
Well done also to Terence Quinn, 24:31, and Raj Mehan ,26:43, who took part in the Castlefin 5k on Friday night in memory of the late Adrian Devine.
