The women in the club are proving to be an unstoppable force within the triathlon circuit.

Siobhan Gallagher was third in the category 1 race held in Hazelwood Co. Sligo. Fin Begley was fourth woman home in the Olympic national series race held at the same event and there were category prizes for Anne Robinson, Ita McGettigan, Fiona McDaid , Martina McDaid , Catherine McKinley and Louise Alcorn in the sprint race held in Omagh.

Siobhan Gallagher racing in the elite category one race led the swim but the chasing pack caught her on the bike but she held on well to make third. Fin Begley as usual won her category and it took the best run of the day to put her into fourth in the trail run around Lough Gill in Hazelwood forest.

In Omagh four seconds separated Anne Robinson and Ita McGettigan as Anne just held out as Ita chased her down in the run. Gavin Doherty was the best male performer in Omagh while Catherine McKinley was first woman home for the club.

In Sligo Eugene Mc Gettigan was first man home followed closely by Donagh O’Sullivan and Martin Donnelly.

In the 10K road race held in Lifford, Jonathan Edwards and Adrian Callaghan both raced well.

In the half Iron man event held in Swinford Co. Mayo Clint Doherty made the leap to going long successfully.

Errigal cycling club ran a three day International youth tour . The club had three Participants. Elijah Mc Ginley racing at under 12 , Ciaran Mc Gettigan and Aisling Diver racing at under 14 level. They all performed well with Ciaran at twelve finishing 45th out of 85, Elijah 43rd out of 50 and Aisling 78th out of 85.
