It was a very busy but successful weekend of competing for 247 members with 11 club members taking silverware back to the club. Well done to everyone who competed in events over the weekend.

Stars of the future perform well in Mullaghmore and Derry
The club also had many of our junior members in action this weekend- both at the Mullaghmore Aquathon and in Derry at the North West run Junior triathlon.
Due to child protection rules no results are available for the these but a BIG well done must go to all our junior members who performed brilliantly and made it look so easy! The future of the club is certainly looking very bright!
The Canal Criterium
Junior Members Ciarán & Daniel McGettigan travelled to Strabane over the weekend for The Canal Criterium organised by the Strabane & Lifford Cycling Club. This year an extended course out onto the main street from the Basin proved to make for a very entertaining event. A full programme of events took place from U8s to Senior Racing. In the U12s Daniel rode cautiously on the wet conditions to come in 10th position. While later in the U16s Ciarán wasn’t just as cautious, narrowly missing out on the win, Ciaran Dixon of McConvey Cycles won it with Ciarán McGettigan 2nd and Odhran Doogan of Powerhouse Sport in 3rd.
