Planning a club race is not an easy task but Race Director Clara Quigley ably assisted by her race committee and team of marshals and volunteers ensured the event ran smoothly. Thanks to everyone who gave up their time to help in any way. Congratulations to all club members who took part.

Quick word from the Race organizing committee

I just wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone in the club for their help at the Duathlon on Sunday. It was a real team effort. I had multiple people mention to me that we have a great team behind us in this club. This is 100% true and made my job very easy. These events couldn’t go ahead without everyone coming together to make them a success. So, I’d like to again thank everyone who volunteered and also to everyone who competed.

I’d also like to extend a sincere thanks to our sponsors. This year they all got on board with extremely short notice and for that I’m very grateful.

A special mention must go to our main sponsors Pat and Amanda from the Kitchen. Not only do they compete, they sponsor and feed us after the race too. We’re very lucky to have their support and they are a big part of what makes this a special event.

I hope everyone had an enjoyable day!

I will be reaching out regarding age group prizes during the week once we get everything finalised.

Thanks
Clara
