Tri Athy Series

5 members travelled to Athy at the weekend for the Tri Athy events, competing in the Sprint, Olympic and Double Olympic distances.

The Sprint was a 750m River Swim, 20km cycle and 5km run along a fast and generally flat course.

The Olympic is one of the TriAthy originals. “The Olympic” is a Standard Distance Triathlon involving a 1,500m Swim, a 40km Cycle and 10km Run.

”The Double” is deemed the longest and toughest of the TriAthy races. It matches closely to a Half-Iron distance with the exception of a much longer swim. It involved a 3000m swim, 80Km cycle and 20Km run.
