Letterkenny 24-7 Club Notes April 16 2023

Transition-training-1-1

Convoy 10k, Time Trials Begin, Transition Training, One Week to go!!!!

There is less than one week, 6.5 days to be precise, left until this year’s Try-a-Tri/Super Sprint. With that in mind, there was a healthy turnout for the transition training at the Aura this morning. Gavin and Mervyn shared their wealth of knowledge with those present. We all look forward to seeing the fruits of this next Sunday morning.

The Convoy 10k took place on Sunday morning. A number of club members made the short trip from Letterkenny and posted some very impressive times. Aidan Callaghan came home in 36:36, Liam Tinney followed with 37:58, with Raymond McNamee not far behind in 41:48. Rory Kennedy also showed some strong running ahead of next week’s Try-a-Try with a time of 50:33.

This week’s training schedule as follows:

Monday 6.30/6.45pm: Speed Session on the track at the Aura. Warm up at 6.30pm and on track for 6.45pm sharp.
