Hugh Gallagher did the club proud with an outstanding performance at the World Long Distance Triathlon Championships in Ibiza this weekend. Hugh finished a fantastic 33rd overall in the 45-49 age group with an overall time of 7:32:37 – swim 56:01, cycle 3:51:12, and a run of 2:36:08. He wasn’t hanging around for jaffa cakes in transition either with some very impressive moves through the transition areas.

Eamon Kelly crushed it in another race, he’s stacking up the podium finishes in his first year as a 24/7 member. He was home first at the Sliabh Liag Trail in the 13km run/hike with a time of 1:08:09. Eamon is laying down a marker to inspire the rest of the club members as we approach the busy racing season.
