All set for Sheephaven, Lake Garda Tri, training update …

Club excitement is ramping up ahead of the Sheephaven half next weekend!

Good luck to everyone participating! If anyone is available to marshal on the route next Saturday please let us know as soon as possible, the more the merrier!

Raymond McNamee waa in action over the Olympic Distance in Lake Garda, Italy this weekend. In a packed field of 1,200 he finished in a time of 2 hours and 39 minutes.

If you haven’t signed up for Gartan yet, do so soon! Spaces are filling up fast. This race counts for the North West Triathlon Series and every point counts!!

This week’s training schedule as follows:

Monday 6.30pm: Open Water Swimming at Gartan Lough (see notes above). Sign on: Adrian Wasson Kayak Cover: Kathryn McBrearty.

Tuesday 6.30pm/7pm: Running Session. Session will be posted in WhatsApp group on Tuesday and members can arrange to meet that evening.

Wednesday 7pm-8pm: Lane swimming at the Aura. Online booking/paying available on https://letterkenny247.com/.

Thursday 6.30pm-7.30pm: TT/Brick Session at Foxhall. First bike away at 6/45pm sharp. Marshalls: Colm Corcoran & Fin Begley – please arrange a swap yourself if you can’t make it.

Saturday: No club cycle as SheephavenHalf takes places.

Sunday: Long run or long bike TBC. Transition practice will be incorporated in the weeks leading up to races.
